Old Gap Pottery is the limited production studio of Phillip Pollet. Since 1971 he has specialized in unique contemporary designs with an Oriental influence. These are pots to enjoy holding and using as well as interesting forms to look at. Let your imagination run.
Often assymetric shapes are altered, carved, stamped or hand painted using subtle glazes with organic natural references. They are fired into either stoneware, raku, porcelain or earthenware.
Functional pottery, tiles and museum quality (one of a kind) pieces are available in his log cabin showroom. Custom orders accepted. Shipping arranged.

Directions: Directions: From Greensboro, NC take I-73/74 (NC Hwy 220) South (by-pass through Asheboro) to Seagrove, NC (exit #45) up ramp to right. At top of ramp turn left onto NC Hwy 705 South (Little River Rd) go one mile to stoplight. Continue straight through stoplight (Little River Rd becomes East Main St) go one mile (passing Seagrove Foods Co/Old Luck's Food factory). Turn right at Old Gap Pottery sign.
