Great White Oak Gallery

“The historic shop was built in 1911 as a home when the town of Seagrove was coming into its own.”

Our shop in Seagrove, NC is the Great White Oak Gallery. We display a whole body of work from Benjamin and Bonnie Burns, and several pieces from a few other potters. The historic shop was built in 1911 as a home when the town of Seagrove was coming into its own. It has been a pottery for the past 15 years with several added buildings and updates to the home. The color scheme of peach and teal comes from Benjamin’s upbringing in Miami, Fla.and the beach influence. It sports a wonderful gabled roof but a very modern bath equipped with Benjamin’s hand-made sink. Look for the only shop in town that reminds you of the beach!
