Pottery and Wool Sheep by Bayle Owens

sheep Bayle

These sheep are made of clay and glazed and fired at Jugtown Pottery. Once they come out of the kiln, I felt a wool coat which is fitted to each sheep using needle felting techniques (no glue). The curly wool used to create the outer coat comes from Cotswold sheep who are raised in the United States.
