Stepping into the Craft - Saturdays in Seagrove, NC will be held all Saturdays in the month of July: July 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th, 2018

Join in the Fun with Saturdays in Seagrove!

The potters of Seagrove have plans for each Saturday in July. Observe demonstrations of wheel throwing, carving techniques, raku firing and much more. Participate in a hands-on activity or mini-workshop. Make plans to spend the day with the potters throughout the Seagrove Pottery Community.

July 28th, 2018  -  Special Activities

The Celebration of Seagrove Potters open their 11th annual show with an evening Gala on November 16, 2018. One gala highlight is a live auction of special collaborative works of art. Come to the Gala and have the opportunity to bid on this beautiful jewelry set! Eck McCanless Pottery made the agateware stones from clay and JLK Jewelry used them to create this stunning necklace and bracelet.

I love so many of the Potters. Chad was my student in art and he is like family, Ben is family, I have known so many of you all for so long. Phil and I were in school together. I remember Eck as a child. When I was a child I hung around with Nel.

This is it! The POTTERY EVENT of the YEAR! Save the date for this year’s Celebration of Seagrove Potters! November 16-18th  It all starts with Friday night’s Gala from 6:00pm to 9:00pm , an opportunity to celebrate with the artists in a relaxed, fun environment. Tickets for the Gala are $45.00 and can be purchased through the Celebration of Seagrove link below. Gala participants will enjoy a live auction of collaborative work, craft beer and wine, a live jazz band, food, and a first look at the potter’s market. The festivities continue Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm, admission is $5 each day. You don’t want to miss the Pottery Capital of the USA’s finest potters all under one roof!

Please note that Teague’s Frogtown Pottery is missing from the map. The address is 179 Frogtown Rd, Eagle Springs, North Carolina.
