Lotus Vase – woodfired
Fired at the front of the kiln nearest the firebox, this vase has some wonderful examples of natural ash accumulation and dripping. The glaze followed the path of least resistance to the bottom of the “V” design, cascading into rivulets down the side of the pot. Its opposite side is lovely, too.
10.5inches tall, 6.5 inches dia.
