Holiday Open House
Join the Seagrove Potters this season for their Annual Holiday Open House. You’re invited to celebrate the holiday season on a self-guided pottery tour. Beginning December 6th and lasting through December 21st, participating Seagrove pottery shops have special events planned on Saturdays (some on Sundays).  Most all of the shops have normal retail hours but have prepared special work for the December weekends to feature a great selection for your Holiday gift needs.  Already have plans for those weekends? Don’t be dismayed, shops are open during the week too and many have online stores for shopping convenience!  Enjoy finding something for everyone on your list this year. Experience a hearty dose of holiday cheer and feel the warmth of the season, as you venture through the Seagrove community.  Free and open to the public!
All of the Holiday Open House events take place at the individual studios. Days and times vary. Come buy local, handmade works by our talented potters of the Seagrove Area!
The Triangle Studio
Erin Younge of The Triangle Studio made her signature tree ornaments including a traditional lobed-style series in multiple colors and patterns. She also makes a series of mythical winged creature ornaments that were wood-fired. Flying cows, camels and sheep are sure to bring a smile to your face. These ornaments will spice up any ornament collection. Our shop also has work by our artists Kate Waltman, Ariana Stein and Zach Evans from dinnerware to large pots. Find unique gifts for the holidays!

Snowmen Winter Open House at Crystal King Pottery- The kiln will be opening with a limited selection of Crystal’s whimsical Snowmen colorfully adorned with striped scarves and hats! Poinsettia lover? It is the flower of the season and hand-sculpted flowers will adorn many of the seasonal decorative pieces. Come out and enjoy Refreshments and local small Biz shopping!

Join Seagrove Potters Bruce Gholson and Samantha Henneke for – “One more Hurrah!” of the year. Visit with Bruce and Samantha during the December 7 Holiday Open House on Saturday to talk with them about their work.
“There is always room for one more pot”, said a pottery customer to Samantha at the annual Celebration of Seagrove Potters. Samantha replied “Yes! That is what we always say when we buy another pot too.”
And just like there is room for another piece of pottery…there is a reason for one more open house!

Annual Holiday Opening at Jugtown Pottery - lots of special pieces saved from various firings throughout 2025 will be available. We will have pots just out of the Groundhog kiln in Frogskin, Ash Glazes, Weathered Bronze, various copper glazes, Cobalt & Lavender, and more. We will also have a few select vintage* Jugtown pots available. A fun day to find unusual and exceptional pots!
