Ben Owen III has been a potter for over 40 years in the Seagrove Area.  The Owen family continues a multi-generational pottery tradition working with native materials.  His forefathers came to NC from England as early as the late 1700s to ply their craft and furnish storage jars and other utilitarian wares to early settlers.
