American Craft Week

The potters are willing to share behind the scenes activities, so you can join in the fun! Located in the central piedmont of North Carolina where more than 100 ceramic artists call this tourist destination home. Experience Seagrove’s pottery tradition on a self-guided tour of over 50 working studios in the Handmade Pottery Capital of the United States.
Visitors can shop galleries from the town’s center, extending to a 20-mile radius along the scenic NC Pottery Highway. Tour individual shops to experience Seagrove’s tradition, meet the potters and discover the limitless talent that thrives within this creative community. Plan to spend the day, we guarantee you’ll want to come back.

The Triangle Studio
Gourd Garden at The Triangle Studio Saturday, October 3rd, 10am-5pm Erin Younge is part of the Potters' Pumpkin Patch Trail event group and will have beautiful ceramic gourds in a wide variety of glaze colors. She also makes animal sculptures and cups with a mythical twist. Some of her favorite animals to sculpt are jackalopes, unicorns, jackarams, pigs that fly and chickens. Erin will demonstrate on the wheel and have Uwharrie Native Plant Farm as a guest plant vendor. Enjoy refreshments while you watch the clay process, shop beautiful pottery and find your next plant needs. This is free and open to the public.

She will also have animal sculptures with a mythical twist. Some of her favorite animals to sculpt are jackalopes, unicorns, jackarams, pigs that fly and chickens. All day Erin will demonstrate her hand-building skills by making one of her creatures. We will also have Uwharrie Mountain Native Plant Farm back as a guest vendor. Enjoy refreshments while you watch the clay process, shop beautiful pottery and find your next plant needs. This event is free and open to the public.
